The You Co. is led by Barbara, an editorial design specialist with more than 20 years of experience creating publications and communications for organisations across the UK and internationally.
We work with organisations that have important things to say but need the right structure, design and editorial thinking to communicate them effectively.
Our work spans reports, prospectuses, recruitment materials, corporate communications and other content-led publications, combining thoughtful design with a practical understanding of how people read and engage with information.

We believe effective publication design starts with understanding the content, not simply styling the pages. We consider the audience, purpose, structure and flow before developing the visual approach.
By bringing order to complex information and creating a clear reading journey, we make substantial content easier to navigate, understand and engage with.

Based in North Wales, The You Co. works remotely with organisations, agencies and internal teams wherever they are based.
Barbara leads each project directly, providing an experienced point of contact from initial discussion through to final delivery. Where a brief calls for additional expertise, we bring in trusted senior associates across copywriting, marketing, communications and PR.
This allows us to build the right team around the work, without unnecessary layers or overhead.
Behind every dense report or complex data set is a human reader trying to make a critical decision. If we overwhelm them with visual noise, we lose their attention before they even read the first sentence.
